Dear Friends,

Let me start by thanking all of you for believing in this journey in the Agro Processing industry that I took 15 years ago; a journey that I believed in and wanted to be part of. And today the journey I took has transcended into the creation of an industry that has put my home dwelling Raxaul District, East Champaran on the world map.

It is in this part of Bihar, where the river Ganga flows and brings its purity and fullness to the land. The fertility of the land and the source of water are the main reasons why farmers in this region have leverage in terms of growing the best and highest quality Non basmati/Basmati Rice crop. But there was a concern which needed a solution to this place where Rice was originated. Based on my vision and the vast entrepreneurial experience of my family in Agro Processing, I commenced the construction of the Non Basmati/Basmati Rice Milling Manufacturing Plant. With a vision to be one of the largest Basmati Rice Millers in the Industry,

The absence of an Industry in this region to assist the farmer sell his crop in a timely manner was missing and that’s what prompted me to start Ripuraj Agro Private Limited. This organization is also known as RAPL and today is one of the largest rice milling and processing plants in the country, second to none!

This was the start of our journey in the Rice Industry and there was no looking back. Our journey in exports started with a mere 20 containers and currently we export more than 1000 containers of Non Basmati/Basmati Rice globally and have a brand presence across more than 15 states in the country.

Our journey would not have been possible if we did not have the support and trust of our International buyers, domestic distributors, banks and financial institutions, our team and of course, our end consumers. It is this trust bestowed on RAPL by our stakeholders that has strengthened my resolve further to keep growing consistently by offering excellent product quality and high levels of service.

Currently we have two manufacturing plants at Raxaul East Champaran & Alipur New Delhi, a covered storage facility to age approximately 2, 00,000 MT of paddy and rice, 100% automated manufacturing infrastructure that consists of 3 Milling Lines having a total of 21 MT/ hour capacity, 3 Sortex Plants and 3 Consumer Packaging Lines that process and pack 65000 MT of Non Basmati/Basmati Rice per annum.

Before I end this note I would like to gain your support and involvement on a new mission that I have undertaken this year; with an infrastructure 3rd to none. I want to see RAPL become 1 amongst the Top 3 Non Basmati/Basmati Rice brands in India and the Largest Exporter of Basmati Rice Globally.

I would once again thank each one of you who have assisted RAPL reach where we are today and I am sure to have your support in enabling us reach our new mission of going forward as well.

Best Wishes,
Rameshwar Prasad Gupta
